Public Health Agency of Canada – A message from the Minister of Health of Canada. ‘When it comes to HIV and AIDS, we are working on Getting to Zero. In Canada, this means preventing new infections and making a difference in the lives of more than 71,000 Canadians who are living with HIV and AIDS. Around the world, it means preventing the transmission of HIV and increasing access to treatment for the 34 million people who are infected. On World AIDS Day, Getting to Zero means working together as Canadians to achieve these goals.
