Public Health Ontario has announced the release of it’s new 2014-2019 Strategic Plan: Evidence, knowledge and action for a healthier Ontario. Approved by our Board of Directors, the new strategic plan will guide Public Health Ontario operations and priorities over the next five years. It builds on the solid foundation PHO has put in place since commencing operations in 2008 and aligns with Make No Little Plans: Ontario’s Public Health Sector Strategic Plan. Close to 1,500 people from across the province, including employees, clients and partners took part in consultations held last fall, winter and spring.
