
Lean Sigma Yellow Belt Virtual Training
With its focus on quality improvement and doing more with less, special emphasis in each workshop will be placed on how Lean Sigma principles, tools and practices can be applied to address problems and challenges faced by public health organizations – in particular, those presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the second workshop*, you will continue to develop an understanding of Lean thinking and quality improvement concepts, and further build your repertoire of methodologies. In doing so, you will be able to:
- define what process mapping (including swim lane) and value stream mapping are and identify examples of when each is used
- identify the key steps involved in creating a process map and value stream map
- describe different process metrics and calculate them for a particular process
- understand the characteristics and components of Kaizen Events (including 5S)
*White Belt is a prerequisite
