Protecting, Promoting and Supporting Breastfeeding: A Practical Workbook for Community-Based Programs (2nd Edition)

Breastfeeding & Childhood Nutrition A practical guide developed in partnership by the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) and Breastfeeding Committee for Canada (BCC) to support, promote and protect community-based breastfeeding programs and initiatives. Nine (9) core strategies and practical suggestions are discussed to assist communities in implementation and evaluation of breastfeeding support programs during various stages of pregnancy and post-partum support. Case studies, end-users’ testimonials, lessons learned are examined to provide valuable lessons and real-life examples to mitigate gaps and barriers in breastfeeding programs.
