Healthy Weight | Obesity This US-based evidence summary provides a synopsis of the evidence on the impact of healthy food procurement policies and nutrition standards on sales, intake, and availability of healthier food, as well as Body Mass Index (BMI) as an indicator of weight status (overweight/obesity). The evidence summary includes selected case studies illustrate how healthy food procurement policies are implemented and lessons learned from such processes, as well as a review of study limitations and considerations for future research in this area.
