Call to Action: Creating a Healthy Workplace Nutrition Environment

Food Environment Created by Ontario Dietitians in Public Health (previously the Ontario Society of Nutrition Professionals in Public Health), this Call to Action: Creating a Healthy Workplace Nutrition Environment addresses the importance of healthy eating in the workplace context by presenting the link between nutrition, productivity and the prevention of chronic disease among employees. This resource outlines the nine elements essential to a Healthy Workplace Nutrition Environment, suggested actions to achieve the essential elements, and includes the Nutrition Standards for Workplaces © to assess foods and beverages offered or sold in the workplace.
