NRC Webinar: Collaborating to implement NutriSTEP®, a community-based screening tool

The NutriSTEP® (Nutrition Screening for Toddlers and Preschoolers) program aims to assess eating habits and identify nutrition risk in children. In September, NRC presented the refreshed 2015 NutriSTEP® Toolkit, program milestones and stories from the field. This webinar will feature unique stories of collaboration from the field in primary health settings.

Public Health Units are mandated to facilitate access and provide support for families to complete screening tools to monitor their child’s health and development through the NutriSTEP® program. Partnerships in primary health care are valuable ways public health units can achieve their mandate.

This 2nd webinar on the NutriSTEP® program will highlight:
  • Successful collaborations between public health and primary health care to implement NutriSTEP®
  • NutriSTEP®’s role in public health accountability
  • NutriSTEP®’s research and practice developments to date and beyond
