Janine LeFort, Director of Education Services for Leading Edge Group, has over 25 years’ experience in process improvement across a variety of sectors.  Janine is known for her ability to build and implement cross functional processes and systems through developing effective relationships and utilizing superior knowledge transfer techniques.  She is qualified as a Lean Black Belt and, as a forward thinker, is currently completing her Masters in Distance Education at Athabasca University. Most recently, Janine has added value as a Lean facilitator in public health by enabling the successful transition of a genetics program from a district health unit to a hospital. Furthermore, Janine has supported district health units in Ontario through Lean coaching and mentoring. This support has resulted in significant cost savings and increased capacity to enable staff to focus on providing improved services to the public. Janine is also a part-time Professor at George Brown College in Toronto.
