In November 2016, The Ontario Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance (OCDPA) released Determining quality chronic disease prevention indicators in Ontario, a report that presents a  much-needed comprehensive framework of 52 indicators for five key chronic disease risk factors: unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, tobacco use, high risk alcohol use, and mental illness. This new framework gathers existing data on these risk factors, assembles it in one easy reference and provides a baseline for future measurement and tracking. This webinar presents the framework and how it can serve as a key planning tool for government, as well as organizations, researchers and individuals involved in preventing chronic disease.
