Cannabis Distribution and Public Health Webinar

Cannabis Distribution and Public Health Webinar

What: Webinar
When: April 19, 2017
Time: 13:00 PM
Where: online
Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 1:00–2:00 pm EDT
The commercialization and promotion of cannabis use is a key concern within the public health community as Canada moves toward legalization. The report of the Task Force on Cannabis Legalization and Regulation proposed several initiatives to address this concern. INSPQ has also recently published a report presenting additional non-profit models for distribution. The webinar will provide an opportunity for public health partners in Canada to discuss and learn more about public health-oriented regulatory options within a legalized approach to non-therapeutic cannabis.
Hosted by: The Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse (CCSA) in collaboration with CPHA.
