Advancing EcoHealth in Practice

What: Webinar
When: January 24, 2017
Time: 12:00 PM

On January 24th 12:00 to 1:15 pm, join us as OPHA and EcoHealth Ontario present a draft Municipal EcoHealth Toolkit. This Toolkit profiles the connections between greenspace and public health and highlights the important roles that municipalities, public health units, conservation authorities and others have in promoting community health outcomes through the development of policy and delivery of programs. The Toolkit summarizes evidence for the health and wellbeing benefits of greenspace and features a number of Ontario, Canadian and international case studies. This webinar will be of interest to those who have already made the connection between greenspace and public health, as well as those organizations and agencies who may be just starting their ecohealth journey and wish to learn from the good practices of others.

EcoHealth Ontario is looking forward to your participation in the webinar. Please register to receive a draft toolkit in advance of the session. Your feedback will help shape the final toolkit.
