NRC 2017 Forum - Should We Mind: Why Nutrition Matters for Mental Health

| Chestnut Conference Centre
NRC 2017 Forum - Should We Mind: Why Nutrition Matters for Mental Health

What's the relationship between nutrition and mental health?
Why should nutrition professionals care about mental health?
Why should mental health professionals prioritize healthy eating?
And how can we promote mental health through healthy eating and nutrition?

Join the Nutrition Resource Centre at our 2017 Forum to find answers to these important questions!

Together with your colleagues from across Ontario, learn and explore why nutrition and mental health need each other. We’re putting together a diverse list of speakers and presenters and diving into the incredibly complex relationship between nutrition and mental health being unveiled by the latest science. You’ll learn of examples of inter-professional collaboration and hear the experiences of your colleagues who’re incorporating nutrition and mental health promotion into their practices and daily work — and how you can as well.

NRC’s 2017 Forum will combine scientific evidence and practical experiences surrounding nutrition and mental health with moving personal stories and opportunities to network with inspiring leaders in the field. If you’re passionate about maximizing nutrition and mental health together to promote overall health and wellbeing, this is your can’t-miss event of the year!

Stay tuned for more information about our keynote speakers, presenters and how to purchase tickets.

The event is being held as part of the Ontario Public Health Association’s 2017 Annual Fall Forum. Learn more about that Forum (taking place on November 8th, 2017) here.
